Lucky is our Environmental and HSSE professional with more than a decade of experience across mining, power, construction, and FMCG. A Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAPASA), Registered Construction Health & Safety Officer (SACPCMP), and Candidate Natural Scientist (SACNASP), he holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Venda. Wesela’s expertise spans EIAs and EMPr compliance, HSE audits, risk and incident investigations, environmental data analysis, and GIS mapping. He leads permitting processes—including WULA, WML, and prospecting/mining rights—and drives stakeholder engagement and public participation with regulators such as DMPR, DWS, DFFE, and local authorities. His track record includes roles with Manngwe Mining (Assen Iron Mine), KRS Fire/Alva Group (Sishen Mine), Rider Hunt International (Tharisa Mine), Tipp Con (Eskom Duvha Power Station), and Queens Building Construction, where he embeds sustainable practices and a proactive safety culture.
